what ages did you both start DJing?
K: I got my first turntables when I was 16 but I’m not going to tell you how many years ago that was though!
L: I started mixing when I was 14 my first decks were soundlab belt drives !!!! so been djing for 15 years !!!
How long have you been a partnership?
We’ve been working together for about 5 years. We were both djing and producing in our own right but we seemed to work really well together and struck a good balance and we’ve both been really productive since
What inspired you to get into this business and how did you achieve it?
K:Going clubbing really inspired me to start DJing I wanted to be a part of the industry and be involved in partying as a full time job! Production came as a natural progression from DJing
L: When I left school I wanted to do music but unfortunately didn't get accepted into music college so I chose a different career path, not content with what I was doing and still really interested in music at 24 I decided to buy some gear and start making music, after many weekends in failed relationships and constant ringing in the ears the penny finally dropped and I really understood music and could make any type of it!!
How did you learn to produce and DJ?
K: I taught myself how to DJ on belt drive turntables and had always messed around with production programmes on my own and finally saved enough money to go to SAE to study sound engineering
L: My good pal PK taught mehow to mix, he's still one of the best dj's I know, production wise I did a few basic courses at Point Blank but the rest is sled taught. I don't really know what im doing, basically if its sounds good it stays :)
What was your breakthrough moment?
Our first release on OFF Recordings was the real breakthrough for us they took a gamble with putting out tracks by a couple of unknowns
Where have you found the best audience so far?
All our audiences have been great and really responsive but the ones that stick out for us is Berlin, Manchester, Brighton, London and Lyon
Which Djs have influenced your style of producing?
Audiojack, Groove Armarda,, Huxley, Darius Syrossian, Dusky , Grant Nelson, and Bicep
Which 3 Djs do you listen to the most?
Groove Armarda, Loco Dice, Darius Syrossian

What would be your dream venue to play at?
To play at DC10 would be amazing and the Berghain would also be an awesome gig!
Who would you most like to play b2b with?
Going B2B with the Martinez Bros would be cool!
Do you listen to other genres off the house scene?
K: I listen to a lot of music at the moment the albums I’ve been playing most are Lana Del Ray and the Jessie Ware album
L: Yea i used to be really into hip hop so all the legends in that still get a play when I'm driving around
What was the first record you bought?
K:The first album I ever bought was It Takes Two by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock

Best live moment so far in your career?
Hearing other DJ’s play our tracks! This year has been great and the pinnacle was when a video surfaced of Carl Cox playing our track 'Lost' at DC10
You launched Lost Records last month. How's it all going?
It’s been fun we’ve signed some great records and have had a great response from both the Darius and Hector EP’s. The toughest part of the job is listening to all the music we get sent for consideration!
What advice would you give up and coming producers?
The most important thing is putting in the hours in the studio at least 50 hours a week in order to learn the craft.
Are there any up and coming producers you tip to make it big time?
Josh Butler has got an amazing sound and his tracks always sound immaculately polished
How do you rate 90s house music with todays?
The 90's sound is having a revival at the moment with a lot of producers (including us) referencing the music from that era. There's a fine line with that though. We're hearing a lot of stuff coming out now that sounds like a track has been taken from the 90's and just had a new bass line added to it which is just lazy really.
What track would you play to rescue a dance floor?
At the moment 'I'll Do Anything' by Darius Syrossian really turns the floor
Where do you dream of being in 5 years time?
K: Living and working in Ibiza, it would be a dream to set up a studio out there
L: Same!
What next for you?
We have some remix's coming out of some legends in house music and we're also working on a new EP for OFF Recordings
